It is always rewarding to receive unsolicited comments and thanks from those
whom we seek to help. The following are a small sample.
- Thank you so much for all you do to support and care for those who
come to see you. It really makes a difference.
- It's great you recognise the family suffering and you offer
support. Thank you. I'm really happy my husband is getting counselling but
I'm glad someone recognises I need to talk about this.
- Almost 4 years on and we are glad to be nearing the end of a
dreadful journey. But we are thankful for everyone who helped us along the
way.
- I suffer from PTSD and without the support that I receive from
ASSIST I wouldn't survive.
- ....She still rings me once a month, and I am very grateful for
this... your good work, the support and especially the leaflets helped me a
great deal.
- I was desperate for support and someone to talk to. I phoned
everyone to get help and I found you in a book on PTSD, there must be army
wives. families who need you.
- Thank you for your calls over the last couple of months. Your
kindness and caring attitude is much appreciated.
